As a Voice and Systems Engineer, you will be:
Part of an agile team to develop a scalable, highly available global voice platform
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering leaders and test engineers
Managing and Understanding the performance and scalability principles and apply when developing software
Able to document and communicate clearly
Able to configure, Troubleshoot and support VOIP servers
Overall management of Telephony Systems
Experience
+2 years hands on management using Asterisk based Telephony System across all discipline(Voice, Chat and email) particularly back-end configuration
+2 years of industry experience in developing, configuring and troubleshooting VOIP systems
Experiencing in implementing API integrations and configurations with 3rd party software (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics Zendesk and other CRMs)
Hands on experience in writing scripts, MySQL, Java and PHP is a huge plus
Thorough understanding of VOIP protocols like SIP, RTP, RTCP, WebRTC
Good understanding of networking including firewall, ALG and VPN
Experience in troubleshooting tools
Prior experience in building telephony systems using freeswitch is a huge plus
Experience with any public cloud platform is a plus
Experience working on complex problems and systems
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team
Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a strong-sense of ownership
Strong communication skills, both verbal and writte
